Membership Matters: Tips and Tricks for Recruiting New Members
By Liz Udvardi
This year marks the 35th Anniversary of our beloved Women on Wheels® organization; time sure does fly when you are having fun! From its inception in 1982 until now, WOW has had a rich history of embracing female motorcycle enthusiasts and promoting a positive image of the lifestyle. The members who started with the organization, and those who have joined along the way, represent a diverse group of ages, lifestyles, backgrounds, experience levels, and bike preferences. It is because of members like you that riders, passengers, children, those hoping to learn, thinking about riding, or simply curious can find a home. Through your recruitment efforts we will continue to grow well into the future.

From a clerk in the store who looks at your leathers and asks if you ride, to the lady at work who recalls how she used to ride, there is opportunity all around you. So, what can you do about it? Here are some tips and tricks you can do at the individual and chapter level to get you started on your path to recruiting new members today!
