- Joy of Motorcycling® Hands-On Pick-Up Demonstration ~ This 30-minute hands-on demo shows just how easy it is for women to pick up a motorcycle that weighs almost 1,000 pounds. After the demo, anyone who wants to will have the opportunity to give it a try themselves. Take advantage of the opportunity to let someone else put their motorcycle on the ground so you can practice!
- Joy of Motorcycling® Free Clinic: Motorcycle Safety Q&A Forum ~ This 60-minute clinic provides participants an open Q&A forum to which they can present their own motorcycling questions. Bring all your motorcycle and traffic safety questions for all to hear and discuss!
- Joy of Motorcycling® Free Clinic: How to Help at the Scene of a Motorcycle Crash ~This 90-minute clinic provides an overview for what to do if someone in your group crashes their motorcycle. An excellent supplement to a first aid course, this clinic identifies key tasks that every member of your group can help with.
- Joy of Motorcycling® Free Clinic: How to Ride Well With Others ~ More than just another group riding course, this 60-minute clinic provides an overview of dos and don’ts for a variety of riding-with-others situations, including riding in poker runs, guided tours, parades, funerals, and others. Handy tips will also be shared for dealing with unfamiliar riders, inexperienced riders, three-wheeled riders, and passengers.
- Joy of Motorcycling® Training Seminar: How to Manage Motorcycling Hazards ~ Based on topics from Joy Medved’s forthcoming book, this humorous and engaging four-hour seminar is packed full of strategies for identifying and avoiding many of the motorcycling hazards Joy has personally encountered (and survived!) throughout her 23-year riding career. Strategies will also be discussed regarding how to deal with hazards when they cannot be avoided. Some of the major topics covered in this seminar include: How to Anticipate Animal Antics, Reducing Risk on the Roadway, Predicting Traffic Behavior, and Outwitting the Weather. Requires a cash payment of $20 at the door to attend.
